With 20 years of guitar-playing experience and 7 years of teaching experience, I specialize in helping aspiring metal guitarists break through perceived limitations to unlock their full potential. My mission is to guide students toward becoming technically proficient guitarists who play with confidence and precision. Many of my students come to me feeling unmotivated, confused, or stuck in their guitar journey—I’m here to provide the clarity, direction, and inspiration needed to reignite their passion for playing.

As the creator of Malice Divine, my melodic black/death metal solo project, I’ve released two full-length albums that have received international acclaim. I’ve also had the honor of showcasing my skills on Banger TV's "Shredders of Metal". My academic foundation includes a degree in music from York University, providing me with a deep understanding of technique, theory, and composition.

Teaching is more than just a profession for me—it’s a passion. The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing the breakthroughs my students achieve in their playing and understanding. I design every lesson with care and purpose, tailoring it to each student’s needs. Lessons often include learning songs and riffs, mastering guitar solos, honing technique with exercises and etudes, exploring composition, and receiving personalized feedback and lesson plans.

I value creativity, learning, determination, and personal growth, and these values drive my teaching. The results my students gain include improved technical skill, renewed inspiration and motivation, enhanced creativity, a deeper understanding of the art of guitar playing, and greater self-confidence. I also serve as an accountability partner, providing no-nonsense feedback to help them reach the highest standard possible.
